ASLA's bilingual model incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) and English to serve hearing and deaf students in an inclusive environment. ASLA build's bridges through dual language learning so students, families, and the surrounding community can unite and flourish together. Note that NewMexiCorps members serving as tutors do NOT need to be proficient in ASL.
MAA's mission is to provide a quality and relevant education in a community that promotes caring and belonging for all students, especially those who seek a more personal and innovative educational setting.
The ASLA North Fourth Arts Initiative will connect children and adults with disabilities and the greater community through education and the arts - providing a purposeful existence infused with joy, creativity, and a love for learning. Programs starting January 2025.
